Knowledge that grows with every season

Tobacco Insights is a free weekly newsletter and website for everyone in Zimbabwe’s tobacco industry, from smallholder farmers to merchants, contractors and policymakers. Every Monday morning we bring together the news, policy changes, sustainability advancements and market economics that matter most.

Our aim is to educate. Tobacco is one of Zimbabwe’s most important crops, and the decisions farmers make, from seedbed to sale, shape their income for the whole year. We share practical, reliable information so growers can plan better, understand their rights and get a fair price for their crop.

We also want to promote good practices across the industry: responsible farming, sustainable curing, fair contracts and compliance with the rules that protect growers. By explaining these clearly and sharing what works, we hope to help build a stronger, more transparent industry for everyone involved.
